Whitened Goat Skin
It is goat leather that has gone through a cleaning process using natural lime and special chemicals. The processed goat leather is then dried in the final stage, making it clean, dry, odorless, and bright white, ensuring it is more durable and long-lasting.
The process of making dried white goat leather:
1. Cleaning: The newly arrived goat skin is cleaned of salt and dirt by soaking it for 1 day, then washed until clean.
2. Soaking with Lime and Special Treatment: The skin is then soaked in a lime solution and special treatment for 2 days to rejuvenate the leather.
3. Scraping: After soaking, the skin is scraped to remove remaining hair and flesh, making the skin thin.
4. Final Washing: The skin is washed again to ensure its cleanliness before drying.
5. Drying: The drying process is carried out until the skin is completely dry and ready to use.

Penyimpanan kulit kering
To maintain the quality of dried goat skin, you need to pay attention to how it is stored.
Cool and dry place: Store the skin in a place with low to medium temperature. Avoid damp areas as they can cause mold.
Airflow: It is important to maintain air circulation in the storage area. A room with good ventilation, such as a cabinet, is a suitable choice.
Pay attention to humidity: Excessively low humidity is also not good as it can cause the skin to dry out and crack.
